Thanks useless - I know we're all glad to get encouragement! :)
Useless - I don't think healthy food is expensive. You can buy a head of lettuce for less than a loaf of bread, and you can buy a bag of fruit, at all times of the year, for less than a big bag of chips.
I think it's just that buying healthier requires more thought and time than grabbing already prepared foods off the shelf.
All you ladies are doing wonderfully, and it's nice to see you all helping each other.

and I agree- we're on a very limited budget. It's just been a matter of buying more fresh food and cooking fresh foods, rather than buying frozen, prepackaged stuff. It's no more difficult than my regular cooking, though it may take me a bit longer to figure out what to make :)
